These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CardWise, a mobile application operated by Poshway LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using CardWise, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use CardWise. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
CardWise is a personal finance tool that helps you consolidate your credit card accounts in one place, track balances and reward points, and identify which card to use for different spending categories. CardWise is a read-only aggregation tool — we cannot initiate transactions, move money, or make changes to your accounts.
CardWise is not a bank, credit card issuer, financial advisor, or credit repair service. We do not provide personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
You must create an account to use CardWise. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not create accounts using automated means or create accounts under false pretenses. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
CardWise uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By linking an account, you authorize Plaid to access your financial data on your behalf and share it with CardWise for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
You can revoke CardWise's access to any linked account at any time by removing the card in the app. You can also revoke Plaid's access directly through your bank's connected apps settings.
We display financial data sourced from your bank via Plaid. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that balances, rewards, or transaction data displayed in CardWise are real-time or error-free. Always verify important financial information directly with your financial institution before making decisions.
Card benefit and reward rate information displayed in the app is provided for general informational purposes only and may not reflect current offers from your card issuer.
You agree not to:
CardWise and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Poshway LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
CardWise is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Poshway LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of or inability to use CardWise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of CardWise shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not paid us anything).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poshway LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of CardWise, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to CardWise at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time from the Profile screen. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of CardWise after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the app and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
